DJI GOGGLES 3, REMOTE 3 & 03 AIR UNIT: WILL I LOSE MY DRONE TOO???

We've heard a lot about the ISSUES with DJI'S recent firmware for its Goggles v3, Remote v3 and the 03 Air Unit! Are any of these terrible stories about people losing drones from catastrophic connection issues valid?
I'll take a look, NOT, you understand, from the perspective of a scientist because I'm not, so I'll just give you my lived experience. Could be that nothing will go wrong. I'm just coming from my perspective and what happened to me!
