Chichen Itza in South LA: Best Yucatan Mexican Food | Mercado La Paloma

One weekend, Ari and I had a chance to try Chichen Itza in South LA. We've heard from several people that this is the most authentic Yucatan Mexican food that you can find in all of Los Angeles.

Chichen Itza is located on Grand Avenue near West 37th Street. It's right across the street from the Los Angeles DMV near USC.

At Chichen Itza, we tried:
- tacos de chicharron
- torta de pollo asado
- cochinita pibil
- tamal colado

Our favorites were the tacos de chicharron and tamal colado.
