The Emmrod is hands down one of the weirdest fishing rods I’ve ever fished with. It’s short, stiff, and shaped more like a tire iron than a fishing pole — but somehow, people actually use this thing… and even love it?

I took it out for a real test to see if it could catch fish and hold up to beach conditions. Let’s just say: it was a challenge. Not my favorite setup by any means — but sometimes the goofy stuff teaches you the most.
