The plaintiff worked as a nanny for the defendant and his estranged wife. DCFS got involved after a child got injured under the plaintiff’s care, but then the kids got removed from the defendant’s wife’s house. The plaintiff looked after the kids when they went to the defendant’s house, but she claims she hasn’t been paid, so she’s suing. The defendant doesn’t think he needs to pay because he gave his wife the money to pay the plaintiff.
