This was my first time ever installing a stereo and subwoofer. If youre just starting out do some research and use ofc wire for your build. Also i would recommend a better subwoofer such as a shallow mount sundown audio.

1994 Chevrolet S-10
Sub is 4 ohm single voice coil. 300w max
Amp is Alpine Mrp-m500
Jvc head unit
Crappy wiring throughout
stock speakers
