One of my co workers has this space heater and it would not turn on anymore. It's not an expensive unit and could be replaced but I figured I would see what I could do. It ended up being a piece of metal that had likely warped out of position. I re-seated the metal contact and put it all back together. As of this video posting it has been running well for 2 months. The tile safety works find as we learned when it was knocked over and turned right off.
