Donating to charity is supposed to help people and solve social problems. Why haven’t we made more progress solving issues and making a social impact in our communities and around the world? Is it possible we’re not investing enough in a nonprofit organization’s infrastructure? The Overhead Myth has harmed nonprofits and made it difficult to make any headway on big issues. We can do our part as donors and philanthropists to make sure the charitable organizations doing tough work have a strong enough foundation to last and grow so they can tackle the giant problems ahead of us.
