Home remedies to get rid of sun tan.
If you had a beach holiday or a trek or you have been outdoors for long hours and developed a sun tan. There is a high possibility that your skin is inflamed and there is also a sunburn even though it may not be evident or visible.
When you apply tomato juice, lime juice, lemon juice, potato juice and all of these they are very acidic and they will alter the pH of your skin and make it drier. Or sometimes you could develop a rash / irritation / burns / post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and even scarring.

Remedies for sun tan:
To get rid of tan on the body you can try using yogurt or malai (that is milk cream) on the arms and legs and probably the neck you can also apply it on the face if you have dry to normal skin.
Don’t try yogurt or malai if you have oily acne prone skin. So, this you apply leave it for a few minutes and rinse it off. And you will have to do it for a couple of weeks to get rid of the tan.
Do not try any other home remedies.
You must consult with a dermatologist there are various other ways to get rid of the sun tan.
