During the Monday Night TV ratings struggle between the WWE and WCW during the 90s, it would be fair to say that the WWF was the king of creating new and upcoming wrestling talent. New competitors were able to come into the company, get placed into the midcard and have the oppurtunity to work their way into the main event.
WCW, on the other hand, had difficulty in this area. Due to creative control contracts, a swelling heel faction that had a lot of political stroke, and the fact that a good chunk of the roster was made up of older WWF superstars, becoming a break out talent in Ted Turner's organization in the mid to late 90s was seemingly impossible. One man who was an exception to the rule was Bill Goldberg.

In this mini documentary from Wrestling Bios, we try to forget the match Goldberg recently had with The Undertaker at Super Showdown and instead, we look at Goldberg during his most popular years, so we are looking at The Story of Goldberg in WCW.

We look at his career before wrestling as a pro footballer, his introduction to wrestling from Sting and Lex Luger, his training in the WCW Power Plant, the WCW debut of Goldberg, the infamous Goldberg undefeated streak in WCW, his odd match against William Regal (then known as Lord Steven Regal), Hulk Hogan vs Goldberg on Nitro from the Toronto Sky Dome where Goldberg captured the WCW championship, Goldberg losing the title and the streak to Kevin Nash, his feud with Bret Hart and much more.
