After an emergency trip to the island of Puerto Rico to bury my husband's grandmother who tragically passed away, we found Guanica to be a ghost town. My hometown was emptied of life. I thought I was just seeing things. So two and a half months later we returned to Guanica to find out why. What we learned left us speechless.
