UTMB: No Matter What Happens

Nine years, from seeing my first YouTube video about this race when I could barely run one flat mile without stopping, to qualifying (3 times), to getting selected and now participating. I'm big on signing 'contracts' with myself, and the one for this was always 'no matter what happens, this is a dream.' I missed a cutoff at mile 72 after some violent stomach troubles. So I'm struggling a little bit to live up to my contract. Sharing these moments is a step in that direction. This race is incredible, and I did get to complete the circuit. For various reasons, I went back out and finished the remaining climbs, starting at Chamonix and working my way back to where I left off. It was a dream.
