During a VASERlipo® procedure, an ultrasound probe is inserted into the target area through small incisions. The excess fat cells are first melted using the probe before being removed from the body via suction. During traditional liposuction, a cannula is used to separate and break up the fat cells before they are removed with a vacuum suction. Overall, the traditional method can be much more invasive.

VASERlipo® suction is much gentler cosmetic surgery procedure than traditional liposuction and a lot less dramatic.
