A useful trick for Truecaller name announcement is to ensure your phone isn't on silent/vibrate and to enable the "Phone call announce feature within Truecaller's Settings Calls, which makes the app speak the caller's name for both contacts and unknown numbers, even allowing customization for messages too. You can also customize your own profile name in Truecaller for when you call others, making their caller ID show your chosen name, not just your number. 

To Enable Call Announcing (When you receive calls)

This video demonstrates how to enable the call announcement feature in Truecaller:



Open Truecaller and tap your Profile icon (top left).

Go to Settings  Calls.

Find and tap "Phone call announce" or a similar "Announce calls" option.

Toggle it On and select "Always" to have it work even when your phone is ringing (not silent).

You can customize it to announce contacts, unknown numbers, or even SMS/WhatsApp messages. 

To Change Your Own Name (When you call others)
