Teachers, parents, and kids, I strive to make this channel a fun read-along learning experience. I created these videos with different styles of learning in mind. Each “page” of the story is created to be visually interesting for students who need visuals and read in a calm voice pattern to help students relax and enjoy every word as we read along together.
Feel free to pause the video stories to be word detectives and find sight words and new words you haven't read before! This creates a way for students to interact with the stories as if looking at a book together.

Want to help your child/children improve their reading skills?
Incorporate these research-based reading strategies while reading along with my stories, just follow these simple tips.
1. Pause the video story at the beginning of the story (consider this the cover of a book).
Ask your children, “What do you think this story is about? Dig a little deeper by asking, “Why?”
2. Also ask, “What do you already know about __________________?”
3. "What would you like to learn about _________________?"
4. Pause the video story any time there are interesting things or words your child comments on or shows excitement about. Take time to let them talk about it or ask questions. Let them share what they are thinking.
5. Ask your child/children, “Does this connect to anything you already know about in your own life?” Help them make relevant connections to what they know or have experienced.
6. Pause the video at the last “page” of the story that asks a question. Every story I have written will include a question at the end. Take time to let your child answer the question and discuss something new they learned about __________________.

Please like and subscribe so we can keep making fun, read-along learning books for teachers to use in their classrooms and for kids and parents to enjoy together!
