So you broke off your visor vanity, or you want to install LED lamps in the vanity, but those incandescent bulbs just won’t come out, or worse yet the bulbs broke off in the fixture; now what are you going to do? Well, panic never helped anyone, because as I was doing this LED upgrade after my visor cover snapped off, and I replaced those, all of these bad to worse scenarios happened to me. ARRRR… If someone tells you “it’s easy” they are lying, lucky or I don’t know what. Plan on each side of these visors taking you four hours to make right, that is if you have all the repair parts and tools in your basement, otherwise, it will take you longer! If you take this in for repair, or even if you order the parts yourself, you are talking several hundred dollars per visor, and hopefully you won’t break off the ceiling mount brackets, which I cannot even imagine that cost. As it was, because I had the passenger visor cover break off, the new covers, albeit faux carbon fiber, were $100 for the set. This is a project anyone with patience and the ability to use hand tools can accomplish.
