Trekking in Rwanda Part 2 | Gorillas in Volcanoes National Park - Ultimate Bucket List Adventure!

A few years ago someone recounted their experience of Gorilla trekking to me. They told me how life changing and unforgettable it was. Another person told me the exact same story. Eventually, curiosity got the better of me and - I hope my face in this video says it all!

Gorilla trekking is not inexpensive (see my Part 1 video for more details on logistics and costs) but it will leave a long lasting memory in your heart. Treks vary in length according to the gorilla family you are allocated and guides will ensure you’re equal parts safe and equal parts thrilled.

In this video we trek through the jungle of Volcanoes National Park, on the northern border of Rwanda and close to Uganda and The Congo. I hope to show you what you can expect, what you should wear, some of the hiccups we encountered but mostly, the majestic animals that people come from far and wide to see in their natural habitat.

This series aims to show you how to create an itinerary in Rwanda that encompasses the PRIMATE TRIFECTA: we visit Chimpanzees in part 1, Gorillas in part 2 and Golden Monkeys in the upcoming part 3!
