Music performance by Tetseo Sisters, Nagaland

Описание к видео Music performance by Tetseo Sisters, Nagaland

Come, experience the music of the hills!

The Tetseo sisters - Mercy, Lulu and Kuvelü along with their brother Mhaseve perform at the NWMI's 20th anniversary celebration.

Not only are the Tetseo sisters seen as cultural ambassadors and attributed to starting the folk fusion movement in Nagaland, these sisters do not miss a chance to raise their voices for women’s rights.

Experimenting comes naturally to them - with genres, languages, cultures. Hear them knock your socks off in Chokri, English, Hindi, Korean and Japanese. They are recipients of several awards, one being the Governors Award for Excellence in Music.

Learn about the Li (folk song in Chokri Naga) and the richness it brings to Naga life. Hear them speak about their parents, to whom they always proudly attribute their success to.

It is our great pleasure to have three of the four sisters performing at the 20th anniversary celebrations of the NWMI.
