The Standard Model and Supersymmetry

Описание к видео The Standard Model and Supersymmetry

According to the standard model of particle physics, there are four fundamental forces in the universe: strong nuclear, weak nuclear, electromagnetic, and gravitiational. Each force is carried by its own set of bosons: gluons, W and Z bosons, photons, and the theoretical graviton. It has been theorized that all four particles behave the same at high energy levels, making all four forces equal. Nobel laureate Frank Wilczek explains how supersymmetry—or SUSY—could be this ideal "unified theory."
