This is my (and Chris) first ever endurance driver swap race in sim racing. Although it did not go as planned due to unfortunate incidents and many of our own mistakes (bumps and spins), we both still had a blast and enjoyed all 6 hours of it. We could have gotten a much better finish than this but since it is our first endurance race, we were happy with the result despite the incidents.

This video highlights our moments during the race, most of the incidents and mistakes that happened and the dramatic finish to keep our position.

To recap, we qualified 18th position out of 47 teams. The race started off pretty well gaining multiple positions to 13th if i am not mistaken, however, around minute 40 into the race, a Porsche spun in front of us which caused a major collision breaking our car down, forcing early pit stop which ruined our strategy. It was difficult as it was our first time and didnt plan a back up strategy. I ended up doing a double stint of around 40 mins for stint 1 and the full 70 mins for stint 2 (max stint allowed). During the second stint I had an unfortunate collision with another driver which lead to a 15s and 10s time penalty for a total of 25s. I tried to give back the position in the race to avoid the penalty however, the other driver took too long to recover so I decided not to wait.

Chris had to also do a double stint due to the incident, the 3rd stint was the full 70 mins and the 4th around 60 mins. During these stints we managed to rack up 2 drive through penalties, 1 for unknown reasons and the other for speeding at pit entry. The 5th stint returned to me in which I did almost the whole 70 mins. These 3 stints we were pretty much just trying to gain positions lost. The 6th and final stint was driven by Chris, in which we were 23rd and somehow Chris has found a good pace, what happened on the final stint can be seen in the video.
