#75 TODD TUCKEY'S Final College Film Project Temple University - TNT Amusements

Описание к видео #75 TODD TUCKEY'S Final College Film Project Temple University - TNT Amusements

This was my final project at Temple University--got a Bachelors in Communications--and Bob Saget (yes, he was in my class!) and I were the ONLY two students who got an A minus for their project! (The professor "doesn't give A's!" Before the days of digital special effects and Windows Movie Maker, you filmed Black and White 16mm film for college projects. You had to wait for the film to get developed to even see if everything was clear and usable or else refilm! Your effects were created by the camera, you had to measure distance from lens to subject to focus, and then light your indoor set with 1000 watt light bulbs! If you wanted sync sound, you had a separate reel to reel tape recorder and a "clapper" to sync the sound!

Yes, I did all this filming 30 minutes and cutting down to 9 1/2. I lit the set, wrote and played the music (my father, who agreed to star, cannot play a lick!), wrote the screenplay--it's fiction of course, recorded the sound, spent hours editing and syncing all the separate tracks (sound effects, music, sync), and then cutting the negative. All at the glorius age of 23 years old.

My Dad's two cousins actually did help out in our huge gardens together on Saturdays. Clark Collins and Robert Gosslar are both seen in this film, along with "Porky" our dog. Sadly, all four stars are now gone and this house and property demolished about 5 years ago. Todd Tuckey of TNT Amusements
