It was Frankie Knuckles, the Godfather, who took the formless clay that disco had become after 1979's infamous Disco Demolition Night, and shaped it into what was first called Warehouse Music then, ultimately, came to be known simply as HOUSE. Thank you for this heavenly gift, Frankie. R.I.P! This was a recording of a dub of a purchased mixtape, if all that makes sense. So I can't tell you when the mixtape was produced.
