After spending a night at the Best Western Dragon Gate Inn in Chinatown, we had to wait most of the day for our 10pm departure on the Coast Starlight. After checking out around 11am, we walked to Union Station, stowed our luggage in the Metro Lounge and went out to explore the nearby Olvera St Market and the historic buildings within it.
