It was freezing around -5 C and I wanted to see if cranking this 74 year old Samofa 1S108 diesel would work. After numerous attempts I decided to use the preheater at the air intake which worked.

Fuel: HVO100 cooking oil-based diesel
Engine: 1949 1 cyl water cooled with 1.4l displacement generating 15hp@1500rpm
Ship: Kendang, unknown build year
