In This Video:
Michael with NE CAR LOG walks through some of the most common Chevy s10 4wd problems that can effect the s10 blazer, GMC Sonoma and GMC jimmy. the Oldsmobile Bravada will not have issues with the front diff because the axle is one piece. there are common issues with the vacuum system operating the front diff and the diaphragm and cable can also fail. My GMC Sonoma 4x4 did not work because the switch needed to be re-soldered and the front 2 piece axle had issues and the cable posi lock i purchased did not fix the problem. The Posi-lock cable system eliminates the factory cable and vacuum operation system with a reliable cable pull setup. the 3 button transfer case has a vacuum swith is mounted on the transfer case but the 4 button auto 4wd system has a electric vacuum switch on the firewall. The Bravada front shaft swap or the outfitter design one piece shaft is the best 4x4 upgrade you can do to any s-series 4wd vehicle. if you have any more info not talked about in the video please leave a comment to help others out and I will try to add any further info in a future video.

My vehicle shown is a 2000 chevy s10 Blazer ZR2 offroad package that is lifted from the factory. I also have a 2001 GMC sonoma ext cab 4wd that I have done the bravada swap to and is my plow truck.
