New Mayapur - Building a Climate-Resilient Community

New Mayapur is working to build a climate-resilient community, one equipped to withstand the negative consequences of climate change. It includes a variety of projects such as: reducing carbon footprint, enhancing carbon trapping, preserving biodiversity and building strong water energy and sanitation systems.

We are currently working on installing wastewater treatment and rainwater harvesting systems to address the water challenge. It will be a learning experience for the community, as on the long-term New Mayapur hopes to be able to provide and advise other communities who would wish to benefit from these experiences.
