I finally did it — caught my first giant bass on a 9-inch glide bait. It took three hours of grinding and second-guessing, but when that fish hit, everything changed. After landing it, I switched to a chatterbait and started stacking up more quality bass. That one big bite on the glide made the whole morning worth it.

I filmed the day from my Old Town Sportsman 106 PDL kayak and used my Humminbird Helix 7 to stay locked on areas holding fish. Lately, I’ve been pushing myself to target bigger bites and trust my decisions — this trip felt like a turning point.

Finally starting to unlock the chatter bait! but Guess I gotta keep throwing bigger swimbaits to catch a new pb lol
