World Cruise 2024 Part 19 Stockholm Day 1

Stockholm is the capital and most populous city of the Kingdom of Sweden as well as the largest urban area in the Nordic countries. The city stretches across fourteen islands where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea. Outside the city to the east, and along the coast, is the island chain of the Stockholm archipelago. The area has been settled since the Stone Age, in the 6th millennium BC, and was founded as a city in 1252 by Swedish statesman Birger Jarl. https://w.wiki/3k4N
We visit the Vasa Museum to view the oldest fully preserved ship in the world.
We then continue to Sigtuna, a town in the countryside with the oldest street in Sweden, the Stora Gatan. We also see some very old church ruins, and the Church of St.Mary's.
The ABBA Museum is our next stop.
We finish of the day with an amphibious duck tour
