Описание к видео Scafell Pike & ILL Crag. The Corridor Route, Lake District. 8th August 2022

A walk up to Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England (978m) and the fourth highest mountain in England, ILL Crag (935m) by a route known as the Corridor Route.
Note: This video is a bit longer than my usual, in an attempt to show as much of the route and the views as possible. It is a stunning route!
The route starts from Seathwaite in the Borrowdale Valley in the Lake District and heads up the valley to Stockley Bridge.
From Stockley Bridge I take the Path up to Styhead Tarn where I turn left at the Stretcher Box,
I then head right on to the Corridor Route.
The Corridor Route is a fabulous route up to Scafell Pike with dramatic scenery and stunning views.
The Corridor Route reaches Lingmell Col, where I turn left for the final climb up to Scafell Pike.
From Scafell Pike summit I follow the route down and over Broad Crag where I the visit ILL Crag. At 935m high ILL Crag is recognised as the fourth highest peak in England and has stunning views.
From ILL Crag I follow the path to Esk Hause and then cross Ruddy Gill and follow the path down the valley back to Seathwaite.
Distance is around 9.5 miles.
