In 2023, it was estimated a $32 billion dollar revenue was generated in the US, that equates to $15 billion dollars in payroll so people were working. An estimated 575,000 jobs were derived from this. Now indirectly and directly the impact of the industry and the whole economy was $157 billion dollars of which $65 billion dollars was payroll and that equated to 1.5 million jobs across the country.”
