On May 2, 2016, the amazing Aizuri Quartet performed at the US Ambassador's residence and was welcomed by the U.S. Deputy Chief of Mission Ethan Goldrich. Aizuri's outstanding performance included a sampling of classical and modern compositions as well as intriguing historical footnotes. Thank you to Chamber Music Abu Dhabi and Khalifa University (جامعة خليفة) for providing the musical residency that helped make this all possible. The night of music also included special guests Amir ElSaffar and the Ashwaq Ensemble to joined members of Aizuri to perform a piece inspired by Ibn Al Arabi. A truly wonderful night!
