To teach my students Martin Luther King Jr's strategy of non-violent civil disobedience, this clip from the Butler does a great job. The Sit-in's helped gain support from the American public by making the attackers the villain. This is compared to other more militant groups, which the public vilified (students can debate if this was right or wrong).
