Chirag Paswan Z Security News: There has been a change in the security of Union Minister Chirag Paswan. The Home Ministry has given Z category security to the head of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas faction). Earlier, SSB commandos were deployed for his security. Security has been provided to many leaders in the country. In India, the Home Ministry takes the decision to provide security to any person.

Under this 'Z' category security, Chirag Paswan will have 33 personnel deployed for security, which will include 10 armed guards at his residence, 6 personal security officers (PSOs) on 24/7 duty and 12 commandos for armed escort in three shifts. Apart from this, 2 commandos will be on surveillance duty in shifts, while 3 drivers will be there for his security round the clock.

Paswan on France tour
Chirag Paswan, the Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, is an MP from Jamui in Bihar. Chirag Paswan is currently in France to attend the 45th World Wine Conference held in Dijon. Chirag Paswan followed in his father's footsteps and entered politics. He also took over the reins of the party after his father's death.

Chirag Paswan formed an alliance with BJP in the Lok Sabha 2024 elections and won all the five seats that came into his account after seat sharing. In the year 2019 also, Chirag Paswan retained his seat and won.

The Government of India provides X, Y, Y-Pulse, Z, Z-Pulse level security to some people of the country. The Home Ministry decides which security should be given to whom. Also, there is an SPG level security, which is given to the Prime Minister of the country.

Intelligence agencies on alert mode
NCP leader Baba Siddiqui was murdered late night on 12 October. Baba Siddiqui was also given Y category security. The attackers attacked Baba Siddiqui when he was leaving the office of his son and Congress MLA Zeeshan Siddiqui. In this attack, Baba Siddiqui was shot twice in the chest. The police is investigating this case from every angle. After Baba Siddiqui's death, India's intelligence agencies have come on alert mode. However, it is not yet known why Chirag Paswan's security was increased, but now the Home Ministry has deployed 33 security personnel for his security.
