In this video, I will show you how to draw a horizontal line in Word for resume.
How to do:
Method 1: Using the Horizontal Line Tool
Step 1: Place your cursor where you want the line to appear.
Step 2: Go to the "Home" tab.
Step 3: Click on the dropdown next to the "Borders" icon in the "Paragraph" section.
Step 4: Select "Horizontal Line" from the menu. This will insert a horizontal line across the page.
Method 2: Using Shapes
Step 1: Go to the "Insert" tab.
Step 2: Click on "Shapes" and choose "Line".
Step 3: Click and drag on your document where you want the line to appear.
Step 4: To keep the line straight, hold down the "Shift" key while dragging.
Method 3: Using Keyboard Shortcut
Step 1: Place your cursor where you want the line.
Step 2: Type three dashes (---) and press "Enter".
Step 3: This will automatically create a solid horizontal line.
