Viktoria Listunova wins the 2021 European AA gold (D and E Score/All Routines!)

Описание к видео Viktoria Listunova wins the 2021 European AA gold (D and E Score/All Routines!)

Viktoria Listunova (RUS) bested Russian teammate Angelina Melnikova and Jessica Gadirova (GBR) to win the 2021 European Artistic Gymnastics Women’s All Around Final in Basel, Switzerland with four fantastic performances. Here, see how they were scored — difficulty (D score) and execution (E score) — in this video!

I know people have asked me to judge other apparatuses before, but I typically only do floor; I guess this is the “first” one for me. The reason I don’t really do vault scores, uneven bars scores, and balance beam scores is because I’m not as comfortable with them, but I would like to do more in the future. If there are any mistakes or you have any questions, please feel free to comment below — there’s a very strong chance that I made an error, and it’s always good to clear up misunderstandings.

Sorry about the brevity of the annotations near the end of each routine — I got this video from Gymnastea, and that channel decided to make really fast cuts after each performance. Gymnastea also has more coverage of Euros, so if you want to see how competitors besides Viktoria did, I’d check it out!

Notes:
On her balance beam routine, I didn’t annotate her Sissone (A) + Wolf Jump (A) combination because it didn’t impact her score at all and I didn’t have space for it. It did happen though!
I forgot to annotate combination value 0.2 @ 3:24. At 3:37, it should also have 0.1 for body shape. The scores on the bottom right corner are accurate.
The music is muted for around 5-10 seconds during her Memmel (D) on floor exercise. This is because of copyright, sorry :/
Her actual scores differ a bit from mine — they’re averages of three scores, resulting in ending figures like .333 or .066, while my scores can only ever be in increments of 0.1. The point of this video isn’t to reflect the deductions perfectly but to explain how the judging could’ve occurred (and likely did in many cases).

It was sad to see gymnasts like Larisa Iordache, Vanessa Ferrari, and Giulia Steingruber withdraw, but I think that they’re all making wise decisions. Hopefully they’ll all be at their best in the event finals or when they have to compete next! It’s awesome that Larisa managed to earn a spot.

If you enjoyed, learned something, or want to see more, I’d be super happy were you to subscribe! Thank you so much for watching. If you have any requests or video ideas, please feel free to let me know below!
