Dearly Beloved (Kingdom Hearts) || Game Music Remix Awards 2022

#KingdomHearts but it's a one-take Live Performance!

Hey all! While volunteering to edit the Game Music Remix Awards this year (formerly associated with the Game Audio Network Guild) hosted by VGMCon, I also was asked to perform for the event alongside my friend Lacey! I wanted to share a track that's both familiar and exciting to see live, so I performed my newest version of "Dearly Beloved" from Kingdom Hearts! While many of you heard this song in 2015, I've been rearranging the sections and of course updating the mix to work better each time I go back to it!
Specifically, this version is actually part of a "remake" legacy edition of GameLark's Volume 1 album, a release from a label I've been leading for a few years! I know it's featuring a ton of improvisation and last-minutey jitters can shake me up a lot. I hope you enjoy the spirit of it, and look forward to a formal version on my channel!
The Awards themselves were a great chance to share just a tiny bit of the community for an evening and their work, and I've had the amazing honor of winning Best Album and Rock/Metal Track in the past! I also appreciated seeing kind comments about my edits, I wanted to honor the convention properly!
