Computer Visions: Summer 2024 - Line Tracking with Cam (no other sensors)

We are incredibly proud of the students in our summer Computer Visions class for mastering the use of the Pi-Cam to identify letters, objects, and other physical features with just the Pi-Cam and no additional sensors. Just within two short weeks of workshops, they built the robot and wrote the complete programs in C/C++ to automate the challenge.

This robot’s ability to navigate the line with such precision demonstrates a sophisticated and robust technique for line tracking. This achievement sets the stage for our next projects in future projects where students will tackle detecting lane markings, road edges, and potentially other roadside objects to help keep the robot in its lane.

The learning value of these projects will be immense!
