It has been claimed that Monica Garcia's ex-husband Mike Fowler was arrested for slapping her in March 2021.

According to police documents obtained by the US Sun, Fowler, 45, was taken into custody for domestic violence assault, domestic violence in the presence of a child and interruption of a communication device.

At the time of the incident, the 40-year-old Real Housewives of Salt Lake City newcomer called police to their home and said her then-husband 'hit her' and that she was 'hiding in a bedroom.'

The police report also stated that as she spoke to law enforcement via her Apple watch, a female could be heard 'yelling for him to get away from her.'

Then, in person, she told officers she was 'afraid of Michael and what he would do if she disobeyed him.'
