Why is She Lolling Her Tongue Out? - Trainer Theories

You might remember seeing Alice, a lovely chestnut IDSHx mare we had in a couple of summers ago. She had a habit of lolling her tongue out of her mouth and jerking her head up and down.

After all the appropriate checks with the vet, here is Barry's theory on why she was doing it and what we could do to gradually phase it out before it became an ingrained habit.
