Today I'm at Holy Trinity in Washington for the wedding of Amy and John, the sun is shining and the church looks lovely all surrounded with wild bluebells. I arrive at the church just before John and the lads and meet the very welcoming Vicar Teresa. Then John arrives, shortly followed by the guests and photographer Keith Hood, who has been at Amy's parents house shooting all the bridal preparations.

Once Amy arrives, myself and Keith naturally capture her and her Dad as she walks up the hill towards the church. This, Amy told me in her final consultation is a replica of a photo from her parents wedding, which was also at Holy Trinity; a beautiful continuation of a family tradition.
Following a lovely ceremony, Keith takes some group photos inside the church, while I capture the activities and then we head off to Seaham Hall for the reception.

Now, as I write this blog the speeches have just concluded and the wedding party are all enjoying their meal, and I must make one note; I can definitely say I've never had a groom serenade the wedding party with his rendition of 'Ice Ice Baby' before and it is unlikely that I ever will again. It was fantastic and all thanks to the best man Grant, who took the time during his speech to bring out an orange sequinned trilby, shades, and a pink karaoke machine, and then have the whole party clap along to encourage John to entertain.

It was a great end to 3 great speeches.
