The shocking murder of 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryana Zarutska on a Charlotte light rail train has reignited concerns over city crime. Zarutska was fatally stabbed on August 22nd by 34-year-old Decarlos Brown, who has been charged with first-degree murder for the unprovoked attack. Charlotte Area Transit System, or CATS, released the video on Friday.
