How J&K bureaucrat Shahid Iqbal Choudhary is weaning away Kashmir youth from militancy

Shahid Iqbal Choudhary is an award-winning IAS officer from Jammu and Kashmir. He is the first Muslim IAS from the Jammu region of the erstwhile state. Choudhary has served in both far-flung as well as urban areas of Jammu and Kashmir, including the summer capital Srinagar. In this edition of 'The Interview', Choudhary spoke about his role as a public servant, youth reach-out programmes and schemes and how he is trying to channel the energy of conflict-marred youths in J&K in a positive direction, away from militancy and stone-pelting.
