102 years old Pusochiba. Seen on his left is his eldest son, Narokumba Ajem, who is 78 years old. He assisted in translating the narrative of his father.

Pusochiba is an 102-year old man, the oldest person in Chungtia village who was in active service as Dobashi around the time when WW II was fought. He proudly recalls escorting Rani Gaidinliu from Mokokchung to Silchar on a Jeep and train that also had A.Z Phizo on board. He described Phizo as someone who is interested in talking and Gaidinliu as a sober woman.
