HOW TO RECORD PS3 GAMEPLAY IN HD (NO CAPTURE CARD)

Today I will be showing you the best way to record PS3/XBOX 360 Gameplay without any capture card in 1080p (With game sound too) using a method I came up with myself. In this video I will be showing you not just how to record a TV with a camera (which anyone can do) but how to get the direct audio feed from your console to your computer to get professional gameplay footage.

You will need:

PS3/XBOX360 system
Any camera/phone
HDMI Monitor or HDTV
The PS3 Aux Cable (for audio)
Aux to Audio jack cable (You may find it around your house)
Any computer with line in jack with a mic symbol (if there is only one audio jack with a headset symbol, it is only made for headphones with a mic so it won’t work with this method)

Software needed:
Sound recorder (already installed in your pc)
Any video editor (I used Windows Movie Maker in this video) not available in Windows 10.

FAQs:

Can you plug the audio jack in your iPhone?
No, because it will not recognise it.


Can you use HDMI cable in your PC?
No, because it is an output on your PC!
