The ever-changing sandbanks of the Noosa River-mouth. This was at the high tide of 1.9m 8.20am on Wed 8th Oct 2025. As you can see, the Spit Beach has gone completely. For our local wing-foiling crew, this means, at high tides for a while, we can only launch from the Main Beach side of the groyne wall. These sands are a bit like Arnold Schwarzenegger - "They will be back!" - in time.
