Designing a tarot deck is a lengthy process. This is how I created the first draft designs of my tarot deck. I have hand drawn all 78 designs for each tarot card in my first deck The Tremendous Tuxedo Circus. I could have gone straight to my computer, but I am so glad I created the designs in draft form first. This process has helped me to evolve the aesthetics of the deck and to provide me with a starting framework for each card, now that I am creating digital illustrations in Affinity Designer.
