Commercial breaks taken from an episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine on UPN O&O KRRT (later Deerfield Media-owned, Sinclair-operated CW affiliate KMYS, now a Dabl affiliate) in San Antonio, Texas. The UPN network had just launched eleven days before.

KRRT was a UPN O&O for only a brief amount of time; shortly after UPN launched in January 1995, Paramount sold the station to Jet Broadcasting, who immediately entered into a joint services agreement with River City-owned Fox affiliate KABB (previously independent, having picked up the Fox affiliation from KRRT upon UPN's launch.) Sinclair bought River City's stations in 1996, and Sinclair sidecar company Glencairn bought Jet the next year, with Sinclair buying KRRT outright once TV duopolies were legalized a few years later. KRRT switched to the WB in January 1998 as part of a Sinclair group deal, and when UPN and the WB shut down in 2006, KRRT joined myNetworkTV as KMYS, then switched to the CW in 2010.
