This Meal Makes My Wife Forget Her Home!! Taiwan Secret CLAY JAR CHICKEN

Welcome to Taiwan, welcome to Renai Township! If you have ever taken a ride into the mountains of Central Taiwan, I am sure you will remember seeing endless signs for CHICKEN in all shapes and sizes. There are a few different cookings styles going on, but in the QingJing Farm area we have eyes only for 'Wong Zai Ji." (...also called 'Wong Yao Ji")

The clay pot chicken looks stunning, the crispy skin, the glowing golden flesh, I love the presentation WITH the au jus side dish - it IS a simply but unbelievable meal. Do not miss the chance to try if you are ANYWHERE near this part of Taiwan on your next visit to this amazing island.

This family has been making this dish for over 20 years, I love everything about both their restaurant (which is also their home), and the atmosphere here tonight. Thank you for hanging out with us, and I hope you LOVE seeing Grandpa's giant clay jar chicken cooking skills in action.

*I DO say in the video title, this chicken dish is SO good it has Li claiming a NEW "Best Ever Chicken Dish," and that is something that I haven't seen in years!*

COST OF THE MEAL:
Each chicken restaurant sign we saw ran from somewhere between 700-800 TWD, the meal we picked tonight came as a set for 850 TWD, including the soup, fried green veg, and unlimited rice.
