There are several solutions that can be used to get your microphone working in Warzone 2. Before troubleshooting any issues you will want to make sure the correct microphone is selected in the Warzone 2 settings. If the input device is set to default then you can try switching to the microphone itself. This will ensure the correct device is being used to talk in game.

Another solution for the microphone not working error in Warzone 2 is to adjust your PC sound settings. To ensure your mic is being used in WZ2 you will want to set it as your default input device. This will use your selected microphone for most applications. Additionally, your mic not working can be caused by a low microphone volume. By going to the sound control panel you can adjust the microphone level to ensure it is being heard in game. Typically you will want to use a level of 85 or higher so your microphone is clear.

Although rare, it is possible that an application is taking exclusive control of your microphone. You can disable exclusive control through the advanced device settings in the sound control panel.

Additionally, you may need to allow Warzone 2 to be able to use your microphone. By allowing desktop apps to use your microphone through the privacy settings can fix the mic issue.

If your microphone still isn't working in Warzone 2 then you can try updating the drivers. New drivers can help resolve microphone errors and allow it to work in Warzone 2.
