Pair Distribution Function (PDF) Analysis in the Home Laboratory - Not Just for Experts

Описание к видео Pair Distribution Function (PDF) Analysis in the Home Laboratory - Not Just for Experts

In this webinar, we show how you can expand the capabilities of your diffractometer and how you can use atomic pair distribution function (PDF) analysis when traditional diffraction techniques fall short.

Atomic pair distribution function (PDF) analysis is a powerful technique for studying the short and intermediate range structure of a wide range of materials, in particular glasses and nanomaterials. While the technique has gained in popularity in recent years, conventional opinion is that PDF analysis is too time-consuming – and complicated – to be done on a laboratory diffractometer.
