The NIV Wide Margin from Zondervan is NICE! I love the silver gilding paired with the blue art gilding. Something about the pairing of silver and blue with a black cover just hits the spot for me. The layout (spoiler alert) is one you may recognize from the Thompson Chain Reference Bible. That’s because it is the same layout, minus the references. Some may find it disappointing that there isn’t much margin space on the top and bottom, but what you get on the inner and outer margin is excellent.

It’s also nice to be able to have a larger 9.5 font. The NIV ComfortPrint is not my favorite (looks sort of cartoonish to me), but it’s still really readable and a noted improvement from the original open letter one. Also note this has the amazing 36gsm European Bible paper. This thing is SLICK!
